Kellogg's Blueberry Mini Wheats

I bought the shredded wheat more for a crunchy snack rather than a breakfast food and they are okay in that regard.

There are 190 calories in 25 biscuits. That is a lot of crunching for the calories but that doesn't include milk if you eat them that way. The fat count is really low. It's only at 1 gram. Carbs are very high at 47 grams per serving but you can subtract the 6 grams of fiber from that. Plus, they do have 5 grams of protein and all the necessary vitamins and minerals added.

All in all, not a bad cereal for a snack or meal if you are careful how many of the biscuits you eat. I'm not too keen on this blueberry flavor, though. It's not bad, but I think I like the regular ones better.

I tend to eat a lot of cereal dry. I eat it as a snack too. I don't like plain shredded wheat but I love frosted shredded wheat. I also like Cheerios - I eat them without milk all the time. I think it's the crunchiness.

I love cereals as a snack. I think the crunchiness convinces my mind that I'm actually eating crisps!

Frosted Mini-Wheats do make an excellent snack, in terms of taste. I hadn't yet looked to see what kind of calorie load they had. I wish I had seen this post last week when they were on sale!

I usually eat cereal for breakfast because it's easy and pretty straight forward with the serving sizes. Some cereal with milk and a banana or juice and I am okay for a few hours until lunch. I haven't tried this kind yet.

Cereal is my favorite snack. I usually don't eat it for meals because cereal is really never that filling for me, but I love it as a yummy snack.
