Am defo going for 3st this week feels within reach finally - been a slow 7lb I know but lots has gone on in that time and I'm ok with slow and steady wins the race. lol

I think part of the 'journey' with SW for me has been not to feel guilt over food. Even on days when I'm not 100% on plan, I know that I can pull it back. Eat better the next day and not beat myself up about it.

It's partly why I've slowed down in Weight loss, but it's real life, it's got ups and downs.
Posting your own journal on the board here is a fab idea to keep you on track, get advice and support and log your foods. Also to look back on in time.

I agree with PJ - keeping track of things can help especially when you have a 'bad week' and gain, you can look back on the good weeks and get some inspiration
With reagrds to portion size, SW do say to have at least 1/3 of your plate speed, 1/3 protein and 1/3 free foods. And they advise that you snack on speed foods if possible because it's those foods that help you lose the weight rather than the others protein helps keep you nice and full too

Looby - I'm the same as you this week; a gain, but you can identify an area where it may have come from... although with mine, I absolutely know where my gian came from!! 100% no doubt... this is what happens when I go off track

Sorry I have not really been on here since last week.

Thanks everyone for your kind comments on my first weight loss, I have since been weighed and lost an additional 3.5lbs. This means I am 3lbs from my Stone Award and I am so happy.

I completely agree with the comments regarding Slimming World not being a diet, I look at it as more of a lifestyle choice. I make conscious decisions about what I do and don't eat and take a second to think before I prepare a meal. I think my problem before was eating without any thought for how much I was actually eating. I have learnt a lot from the short time I have been attending the classes and think I will always use what I have learnt.

I joined slimming world with a friend of mine who lost 2lbs in her first week and has now lost 7lbs this week which gained her her 1/2 stone award and slimmer of the week. I am going to ask her to sign up to this forum as it's a good way to get the motivation to continue!!

4.5lbs off for me this week, got my stone award and slimmer of the week !

total loss now 15.5lbs

I lost 6lb this week..... Got my 1/2 stone award.....9lb lost in total. 5lb til my stone award x

Hi guys!

Haven't posted for a while as I've been away and then was ill (Still recovering )

Lost 5lbs this week, which takes off all the weight I gained whilst away for two weeks, and 1/2lb extra!!!

Hoping to get to my 1 stone very soon, only 3lb to go now!

Hi all..was up half pound this week..but had been walking miles everyday and nt drinkin much water...so this week water is my aim and logging food properly..iv lost 13lbs so far and now im 10st13lbs😊
