help thinking of joining slimmers world any advice appreciated

help, thinking of joing slimmers world but not sure how this diet actually works, would appreciate any advice before joining

Thank you purple..feeling a lot more positive this week..have tryed on few clothes and they have gotten loose so its lifted my mood bcoz nw ino its workin😊

Hi loulou

Slimming World isn't a diet, it's a lifestyle change and healthy eating plan. It's pretty straight forward to follow, lots of fresh fruit and veg and meat/fish/protein filled foods with other extras thrown in.

Andrew - amazing first loss!! You've done fantastic and you must be so pleased!

PJ - well done on the lower end of the stone bracket I'm aiming for that myself at the minute, small targets for me lol... Fingers crossed for your 3 stone award!!

Aurora - 10lb in 4 weeks is brilliant! You've done really well and hope you aren't feeling as disheartened this week

Oh dear....rather than losing...the Greek Meze I had last night (which was gorgeous...and it was a friend's birthday) has caused a 2lb gain!

The rest of the week was spot on...so hoping I'll get that off again by next week.

Hope everyone else had a better week than me!

1lb down this week Am pleased with that as not been 100% and struggled mentally with loss of my scale. I now that sounds pathetic. It's back in service (needed a battery) and head is in the game for a 1.5lb loss next week - will bring me to 3 stone gone!!!

Aww thank u sarah...is it ok for me to ask in here as this is a slimming world forum..its just im so miserable on this plan an feel really limited of food and wen i go anywer out or a syn over im left feelin guilty..i was thinkn of continuing my sw weigh in but log my food into my fitness pal...im very greatful of sw for showing me the healthier foods to get although i dnt like how slimming world overhead ppl dnt tell ppl about portion size an it makes me angry wen a few ladies older or younger have gained because there told evtin free is unlimited..now if u overeat free food or speed food ur goin gain weight.so for me personally for myself i think mite work best knowing il be happy losing it xx i did lose 1lb again tho on monday...
