You can have 35g of porridge oats as a HEXB.
Yes...as Alicat say ^^.

Have you tried 'Over Night Oats'?

You layer up uncooked porridge oats with a syn free yogurt of your choice (I use one of the free mullerlights) and either fresh or frozen berries and I like some sweetener added to the fruit. Then you cover the dish / jar / tub with clingfilm and stick it in the fridge over night. During the night, the oats soak up the yogurt and kind of 'cook'. Then just get it out of the fridge in the morning and dig in with a spoon. It's really good.

Also, I find I only need to use 17.5g of oats and that's plenty filling, which means I can use my other half of my HEXB at another time in the day (a slice of 400g wholemeal bread with my lunch, or a SW Hifi Light Bar/Alpen Light Bar for an evening chocolate fix).

x x

Good luck for tomorrow everyone! I was naughty and went away at the weekend...half a cider and a pub lasagne with garlic bread in the evening, followed by a cooked breakfast the following morning. I avoided the fried bread, hash browns and black pudding, but still not sure what it'll have done to my weight!!

Hang on in there - 1lb is great progress still and it's about a month overall rather than just a week.

I gained 1lb this week, not really surprised as had cinema out on Saturday (not horrendous but had popcorn and M&M's) and a couple of meals that weren't great. So back to it this week, might try and log again this week. I've not been great about that recently.

I have been doing a food diary. This Sunday is my little girls 1st birthday and I'm hosting a tea party, so there will be lots of cake! 😁 I will just have to behave myself!! Hoping to loose more next week. What do you mean it's about a month?

At least you know why you gained and you can fix it x
