Good luck for everyone weighing in today

Really hoping for a loss 1.5lb would be perfect as would get me into the stone bracket down from where I am now.. but... we will see

Hope everyone's weigh in went well today.

Mine really couldn't have gone any better; I lost 3lb (taking me to my lightest) and I was voted Miss Slinky 2015!

I'm over the moon and didn't think I'd stand a chance!

Congratulations on Miss Slinky and your lightest weight!! Really thrilled for you

I was nominated Miss Slinky but 'lost' to a very worthy young lady who is a friend in group so am thrilled for her! I would not have been worthy of the title (yet). so hoping next year is my year for an award perhaps.

I did however get my wish.. and doubled it to 3lb lost bringing me back into the 14 stone range at 14st 12lb - 1.5lb needed for my 2 and a half stone award.

Really chuffed.

Thanks Purple, and well done to you! That's a fab result, and as you've said, next year you can take the title! Well done on being nominated too; I think everyone should win.

I have lots to lose still and wouldn't have felt worthy at all so I'm happy to wait and see how far I get. My interim target was lowered today from 15st to 12st - seems SO far away, and is the lightest I've been about 3 years ago for a good 13 years before that. I got stuck at 12 stone and then started gaining.. So this time around that is when the work really starts mentally. Would be amazing to be nearer target by the summer. slowly does it - tortoise not the hare.

Fantastic losses, ladies!

And well done on your Miss Slinky nominations, and winning your title, Spoonymoose.

I can also join in with the celebrations this week!

I lost 1.5lb tonight, meaning I got into the 12 stone bracket, and achieved my 7.5 stone award.

To top it all off, I also won my group's 'Miss Slinky' title!

When I was nominated last year, I felt like you did, PurpleJ, not quite there! (I certainly didn't feel 'slinky'). So I bowed out last year, and said I would wait until the following year. And here I am this year with the title...so keep at it....and you'll be next year's Miss Slinky, I'm sure!

Whoop, whoop! Celebrations all round!

Purple, that 12 is within your sight and as you've said before, your attitude has changed so I'm sure you'll smash that new target. Just look at how far you've come already!

Looby, hurray for your title too! it's a fab feeling and must be doubly wonderful knowing that you believe that you are worthy of it this year.

Looby -
Congratulations - 7 1/2 stone is AMAZING!!! So inspiring and 'real'
Also really thrilled for you for your Miss Slinky - and for being so worthy this year, and passing up last year. You have more than earned the title and hope you can progress further in the competition.

I can't quite believe I'm looking at 'next year' in terms of weight loss, it has been such a big hurdle getting through the 3-4 months mark. But it really does feel possible now I'm into the mid stone ranges. I always feel much better around 12-14 stone than the higher end.

It is strange talking about 'next year'...seems so far away, but I know that SW is now just my way of life. It is just how I eat...not a diet...just the way it is, and the way I hope it will always be.

So this year, next year, the year after that...and for all the years to come...here's to SW!

I hope to get to target whenever it is that I get there, and then I'll be a lifetime member of SW, and will keep going to keep on track.

That's the long game plan!

Such a wonderful outlook. I really struggled getting through month 3-4, as I've always failed diets around the 3 month mark. But have been trying from the start to realise this is it.. change of lifestyle and way of eating - not a diet. So pushing through has been key.

My farrier for the horses and I were in shock working out that my next appointment with him for our horses is in January.. so the realisation carries forward tonight to SW. I do think once I'm at goal (might be lower than I posted here - but will be unchartered adult weight) is when the TRUE work begins.. in maintaining. That is the ultimate thing I want to learn and as you say be a lifetime member.
