Enjoy every second in Japan, Matt.

Well done on the losses ladies!

Pleased to say I can join you in the losses this week with 1lb gone.

Happy with that, as we were away at the weekend again.

Spoony that is a great goal and glad you're smiling! I can't imagine being I the 9's to be fair.. being in the 10's for me as an adult will be a first. What size clothes are you? how tall are you? trying to imagine the body shape you'll be i.e. size 8? 10? really hope you get to your new target by your birthday and SW helps you stay a trim pregnant mum when the time comes.

Looby Glad you had a loss and a weekend making memories the fact you can balance weight loss and a social life is amazing.

You all in here are amazing for inspiration. Thank you!

Thanks Purple

At the moment I think I'm between a 10 and 12 clothes wise, though I need to go on a proper clothes shop to find out which out of the two I'm closest to. My aim is a 10 as I've never been a ten in my entire adult life. I'll never, ever be an 8 (though would stretchy leggings count?! ) I'm 5ft 6 so not too tall. I've done a before and after shot to help me see how far I've come. I need to just print it out and pop it on the fridge to remind me!

And thanks again Purple. I really want to be obviously pregnant not just possibly pregnancy/possibly too many chicken and mushroom pies next time!

haha I can relate to the too many pies look! with my eldest I was huge pregnant walking / waddling home from work and a van beeped and shouted out 'go on a diet' my husband was with me and shouted a load of abuse after shouting I am pregnant - I was so embarrassed! I did maintain my weight better with later babies but it is hard.

I've never been a 10/12 as an adult so would love to be there, as I'm 5'3" that'll be a small weight though so not sure what it will 'look like' on the scales to be that size. for now I'm aiming for a 14 around the 11 stone mark and then see if I can get into 10 stone range as never been there as an adult. My 16 year old has lost a bit of weight (nearly a stone) since I started SW - she is a 10 in most things but is taller than me.

Time will tell, just plodding down through the stones is my main goal just now.

Some people are so rude Purple! There's a woman at work who's pregnant and she's tiny so you can't tell she's pregnant from the back.

I was a 12 when I was around 15/16, but it was more a 12-14 than a strict 12. I've never been a 10 either. I remember being in secondary school in Health and Social care and we had to weigh ourselves and find out our bmi and at that age I was firmly into the overweight category so I haven't been a healthy weight for a long time.

Well done to your daughter for losing weight? Putting weight on is so easy so it's better to take action now. I wish I'd have taken action when I initially thought I was a big the first time round! Lol!

You're doing the right thing; getting through each stone is a manageable goal and you'll know how you'll feel once you get to your final goal with how much extra you want to lose if you choose to.

Sorry for not replying guys! I'm not even busy with uni stuff, but I have a much better social life at the moment so am busy with that! Thanks for all the lovely messages, and well done on these great losses!

Maybe I'll post a loss here soon But for this week, it's a 0.5lb gain. Again though, that's completely fine. I overate some days, other days I don't think I've eaten big portions, more that it's just the wrong foods, which is the better of the two if there is one!

I know I'm not even following Slimming World as such at the moment, but I still try and apply the principles of free food when I can, and choose sweetener/sugar free options when I can (though the Starbucks here don't seem to do sugar free flavoured syrups :O ). I also post here now and again as if I type what's going on, it reinforces the idea that I'm still watching my weight.

Good luck with weigh in tomorrow everyone!
