Eating on weigh in day

What do people eat on weigh in day?

Are you a `starve myself all day` person?

Or a `Just treat it like a normal day` person?

I am somewhere in the middle.... I worry if I treat it like a normal day I will fill up with stodgy carbs and ruin my results....but equally I couldn't starve myself till 6pm!!

I go for a light day of yoghurt for breakfast and fruit/veg for lunch. I have no syns or carbs till I get home after weighing and only have 1 coffee in the morning, then 1 litre of water through the day... but do not have anything to eat/drink at all after 2pm.

Am I bonkers? and should I be just following a normal day I wonder?

What do you all do? Any advice?

I treat it as a normal day but then I'm not losing much weight! Although it has been affecting my motivation to not have a good loss every week.

I also don't have a treat after weigh in, any more than my treats any other day.

Hi,

I think for me I unintentionally eat lighter - I am aware it is weigh day but for some reason I am not sure if it is physcological I feel less hungry.

Tends to be eggs for breakie, mugshot and a yogurt

I don't go to group and weigh myself at home on Saturday mornings but Friday night dinner has no carbs, only speed food and proteins and is then followed by nettle & mint tea. My first weigh in of this cycle of dieting is this Saturday but I have always followed this rule when trying to slim down.

I eat as normal. I always have. I've never changed anything with how or what I eat on WI day. The only difference for me is that WI day I eat my tea later than normal.
On a normal day I normally eat my tea around 7-7.30pm, but on WI day, because I leave home to get to group at 6.45pm, I don't have enough time to make and eat something before class, so I eat when I get home, normally around 8.30pm.
I also take something to group with me to snack on once I've been weighed so my belly doesn't start grumbling lol
I always drink the same too. 2 litres each day at work.

I only really have salads for lunch, so I'm not eating loads at lunchtime anyway. And I still snack in the afternoon if I'm peckish.

Most of the time since starting Slimming World, I've treated WI day as normal. Then as my target (whatever it is!) has crept closer over the past month or two, I've been paying attention to the actual weight of what I'd eat and drink on the day and try and keep it consistent. Not starving myself, but I just really wanted to make sure I was seeing a genuine loss every week.

I treat it as a normal day, I'm nervous if I eat more/less then it will affect it so I try to eat the same as usual. A couple of the weigh in weeks I've been desperate to binge as soon as I get home and rather than eat I've tried to just drink fizzy pop as I know I will weigh in and then have a treat tea after (providing I've lost weight) I believe that has affected my weight, so I avoid fizzy pop now until after weigh in. But that is probably just me!

When I weigh-in I just try to be normal as I do everyday. Every time I weigh-in it keeps reminding me to loss more weight.
