best low syn/no syn sausages + burgers?

I do not have access to the slimming world syn calculator so can anyone tell me the best low syn/no syn burgers + sausages? I looked at the slimming world version but they seem pretty pricy considering!

best low syn/no syn sausages + burgers?

I like Tesco Healthy Living Cumberland sausages. They're 1 syn each and come in a pack of 8 for about £2.50-£3 (I can't remember exactly how much they are)
I've tried sainsburys low fat sausages but I wasn't keen on them, I found them a bit dry.
I haven't tried hen, but the Heck sausages are supposed to be low syn too.

As for burgers, I make my own. I use 5% mince, make a few burgers and then freeze them. That way I know they're syn free and I can add whatever herbs/spices I want to my preference

Hi Sarahc, do you cook the burgers and then freeze them? I've been thinking of doing this for a while but wasn't sure of the best way.

No, I just make them up and freeze them as raw meat
I wrap them in individual pieces of cling film, otherwise knowing my luck they'd stick together lol

Thanks Sarah, I'm definitely going to give this a go. Will stop the other half from buying cheap yucky burgers then too!

I've got loads of Tesco healthy living Cumberland sausage in the freezer. They're only 1 syn each. But very peppery and not sure I really like them!
I also make my own burgers from 5% mince. I've never thought of making a batch though Sarah, that's a great idea

Apparently Tesco Finest venison sausages are only 1 syn each too but I haven't tried them yet! I've had the half fat ones for 2 syns each and they're nice.

I went to a BBQ today, and took the SW Burgers from Iceland. They were actually really tasty!

My sister (who has had them before) said they were actually better BBQ'd, than grilled. She said the texture was more meaty BBQ'd. x
