Hi all.
Had a bleedy awful day yesterday. Started in Friday night when I kept having nightmares mostly centring on me having chickenpox, which I don't. Anyway woke up Saturday morning feeling like I'd had no sleep, hot as hell, red puffy face, swollen eyes, staggering round like a drunk, dragons breath, and painful hair roots. So spent most of the day back in bed!

Here's what I had yesterday as far as I can remember

3 cups of coffee, 2 poached eggs on toast , pear, Muller Goodies lemon. Total 0% yog and some rasberries, all courtesy of OH. Everything there on the plan, just not enough of it me thinks.

So, Today I feel fine, invigorated even

Enough about me.

Both you ladies looks lovely in your dresses. I made one at the start of the summer and have wore it once. First time I've worn a dress for YEARS. I'm hoping to wear it when we go to France other wise that one time will be the only time I shall wear it if I lose all the weight I'm hoping to.

Alicat, open up as much as you like. Sometimes just airing your problems can help but things like you are going through just now can have such a baring on our weight either leading to comfort eating or starving our selves but if you can talk to someone about it (ie us) it can help so much.

Heavyweight, I love the swiss army knife comparison . OH can't stop chuckling, says his job today is spraying ours red

Woggles Sorry you had nightmares that does not sound pleasant at all! I am really glad you are feeling much better today! Paint it read with swiss army log on the side! I am still in awe of them!

Alicat I am sorry that you are not having a good time at home. I am glad that he apologised to you and didn't drink last night though. It is worrying when you know the health implications of their behaviour. I hope it is less tense in the next few days.

The sun is shining here I am so chuffed. We are going to walk round to my Nana's so we should get some body magic in first before the bbq.

I hope everyone has an enjoyable Sunday - whether it is at work or a lazy day!

Heavyweight - thanks for the pic comment. It is my inspiration pic - from 2011 when I was a lot lighter can't wait to be back there, and maybe I'll appreciate the fact I was a lot smaller then.

AliCat sorry your struggling with hubbies drinking, I'm lucky my hubby does drink but not too much and he's not horrible with it, so I can understand how you'd struggle with that. Have you tried being brutally honest with him about the shift in his personality not being attractive to you? And that you're worried he won't be around?

Woggles well done the food looks great and all on plan

Well I've finished work for the day, have eaten Weetabix and a banana for breakfast, and and a can of beans and slice of bread for lunch. I couldn't manage to eat the grapes I took as can't open my mouth enough to bite one without it really hurting.

I'm feeling really flat and can't be bothered to try anything for dinner. I know I should just can't muster the energy or inclination. Might force myself to have some fruit and yoghurt soon.

Hi everyone!

Sorry I've not been around lately and feel like I've missed loads. This thread is a great idea.

Looby and Ali, you both look fantastic in your dresses. You must feel so chuffed with yourself. The last time I wore a dress was probably 10yrs ago at my mum's wedding, and before that 16yrs ago at my graduation ball. Maybe when I lose more weight I'll feel confident enough to wear one. I don't wear skirts either, the thought of the nasty chubb rub I'd end up getting really puts me off.

AliCat, so sorry your hubby is drinking too much. My family are all drinkers, some of them nasty drunks. Many of my early memories are when they were all p*$$^d, it's one of the main reasons that I don't drink at all. It's good to hear that he apologised, at least he recognised that he was in the wrong. I completely understand your fear of him not being around in your old age due to all of his bad habits. Hopefully you getting fit and active will motivate him to get healthier as well.

Hi all! Missed quite a lot so you'll have to bear with me

AliCat as everyone else has already said, I'm sorry to hear that you're having a hard time. The fantastic thing about these chats are that you can open up and I've found that nobody is judgmental or patronising in any way. I've had only good experiences so far and I hope we've made you feel comfortable about opening up to us. I'm pleased to hear your hubby apologised - it's a horrible feeling when you are on bad terms. I hope you can work things out - maybe you need to tell him exactly how he makes you feel when he drinks... Maybe go and see somebody together and talk through your problems? Maybe hubby needs to be shown the harsh reality of his habits in some way or another. As you said, he's going to miss out on a lot if he carries on like this and there must be a way to show him this in a brutally honest way.

Looking fantastic in your dresses ladies!! I do wear dresses but most of the time with tights so as to cover my legs, however I did go out on Friday in a dress with bare legs! No pics though I'm afraid. Got a lovely a compliment on the way in to the party I went to from a complete stranger though which was lovely! I can't stand 'chub rub' either! I tend to wear slimming 'shorts' underneath so that normally does the trick.

Have a lovely day everyone! xx
