I joined on 16th June and booked a 6 weeker knowing I had 7 weeks until my hols, which I told consultant about. I was rushed into hospital on Monday 13th July Week 5 and sent consultant a text first thing Tuesday (weigh day) when I was almost compos mentis again. Honestly I didn't plan on having organ shutdown from trying to bleed to death! A week later week 6 I was still unable to move far even though I was home that day and advised by the hospital to stay home. Again I let consultant know. On 28th July I went for weigh in which was my last pre hols and not under the 6 week thingy. When I asked if they still had my two weeks they said no they'd expired. I had let it pass but today to be told I was about to lose my Lifeline access too was just the icing on the cake AND the fact that I have contacted them twice and not heard anything back.

I am still going to follow PJs advice and rise above it though. I might have a few words to say on Tuesday at weigh in though. Nicely of course, she's the nearest group I have and that does mornings too. xxx

The whole sickness thing isn't fair, like you said it's not your fault!!

As for the LifelineOnline access, it'll purely be because your card hasn't been used at a group as you've been away. As soon as you get back into class you'll be able to get back on it.

I'll probably still ask my consultant about the sickness thing, mostly because I'm curious!

Rise above it all hun! You're doing great, even with your sickness!

Most importantly, did you enjoy your holiday?? I'm gutted I've not had one this year (my own fault, didn't book one!) so I'm eager to hear about everyone else's hehe xx

Sounds a lot like me just you lost 2 weeks. So sadly seems to be the slimming world way. Hope you can pick up where you left off in terms of getting back on track and hope you feel better too especially after a holiday

Well done being the bigger person - sabotaging ourselves can be a big hurdle, but you'll get to where you want to be and feel so much better for it.

Thank you girls for letting me sound off. I just hope they reply at some point.

Holiday was fab Sarah thank you. We did bit of a tour this time from Sydney to Adelaide up to Uluru on the Ghan then up to Darwin, over to Broome for a few days R&R before flying home via Perth. Lots of good food, local wine and warmth and sunshine! When I had the stomach bleed I lost 8 pints of blood in under 36 hours and had 4 transfusions and during recovery I was told I needed some vitamin D as well as iron and I certainly got that over in Australia. Timing was a bit tight though!

Well that week was a shock to the system! Lovely to be back though, even if I haven't had time to come on here so trying to catch up now. Bought SW magazine for some lunch inspiration so am about to look through that and go shopping a bit later. I have to plan every snack otherwise I go off plan extremely quickly and end up wasting food. Hope everyone else has had a great week!

How is everyone? We're taking son back to university tomorrow. He's starting year 2 of his 4 year computing degree and moving into a new flat with his friend. Oh I'm going to miss him. He's such a kind and gentle soul. I don't know where I'd be without my kids to keep me going.

Ali - hope your sons move goes well. I can totally understand you missing him. I was talking with my 16 year old about uni's etc and did gently tell her I'll be losing my best friend when she moves away. We go to the gym together, shopping for clothes, the cinema etc. next to my hubby she is the closest friend I have. I think it's really nice you have a great relationship and can be proud of the man your son has become. Even if that is a double edged sword as you wave him goodbye. ((hugs))

I'm off to pick up a new to me bike (see my journal) tomorrow morning, due in the gym in the evening while middle daughter is in guides and seeing to my horses. Am working Tues, Wed and Thursday so need to get myself in the frame of mind for work too. lol

It's wrenching when they go off isn't it. A whole new part to life for us and them. When my son went off around the world I wasn't too bad but my daughter joining the army and going on tour to Afghanistan is almost a blank period in my life. I think I just closed my eyes and held my breath the whole time!

We have a housefull today. The whole scaffolding tem here to rearrange this huge cage we've had over the house. The builders, the electrician the guys fitting the bedroom furniture and building the wardrobes and my cleaners are in on Mondays. I think I might just take the dogs out and leave them to it!

Sheesh Milly, that's a lot today! I'd get myself out for the day

Ali - although I can't relate as I'm not a parent, I bet he'll be home for something (Christmas if not before) sooner than you think

I'm doing about the same I guess... nothing new to report except how broke I discovered I'm going to be before Christmas, and that doesn't even include the actual expense of Christmas presents etc lol... I apparently have a ton of things coming up that will impact on both the finances and possibly the whole sticking to plan. I'm just trying to not think about it too much!
