vegetarian recipes SW

Myself and my friend are joining SW next week and my friend is a vegetarian that isn't a lover of veg lol. Anyone have any vegetarian recipes that taste good? Thanks 😆

LOL - hmmmm, that's an odd one - a veggie that doesn't like veg.

The whole of SW really revolves around fruit and veg, I would reccomend trying loads of new things! Since doing SW I have tried veggies I didn't even know existed.

I think they will have to have a really open mind with the recipes, they do all taste amazing!

There are some veggies alternatives; quorn is free and the Linda McCartney red onion sausages are free.

I am not vegetarian, but I am sure there is loads of food they can eat!

Honestly, she'll find it hard without veg. I'm not saying it can't be done, but like bows said, veg is a big part of it! A friend of Mine's a meat eater who doesn't like veg and couldn't lose anything on sw.

There's loads of egg/pasta/potato type recipes and on the sw website there's a week trial veggie menu. It's actually really good and I had some great ideas off there!

I do think it's worth trying anything once thoigh. I always lose around 4/5lb on my first week of sw purely because I'm cutting out processed veggie food and eating real proper vegetables!

If they don't like some of the veg that are in any recipes they want to try, why not try blitzing them so they don't notice them? Or mix them in with mash potato?
It's kind of like what some mum's have done with meals for years so their kids get the 'goodness' of the veg, just without realising it

Hopefully they can find something they like, and ways around the veg, but like the others have said, veg is a big part of SW, and althought they can eat fruit too, fruit has sugars in so too much of it can be detrimental to the weight losses.
