Hi Qwik, a stone is 14lbs (so 42lbs is my aim) - that is very good advice. Perhaps I'm over complicating my plan. The thing is I can't seem to get the eating part right!
Kate: If you commit to a regimen of walking everyday you don't have to worry about a diet too much. I know, hard part.
I'm 46m, 168lbs. I quit diet soda. Water only. Diet soda messes with you believe it or not. If you walk everyday in 4 weeks or so you'll start dropping. Build your endurance. I can hold 4mph (not sure in metric) darn Brits haha.
Phase 2 carb blockers like Natrol are good to eat before a carby meal. Your body won't absorb carbs. Read about "White Kidney Bean Extract" "BUT" WALKING IS THE KEY. (for me)
Another tid bit. I had a congenital aortic valve replaced & aneurysm that almost popped in my face last year. Lucky! I'm as healthy as a man 1/2 my age says the cardiologist. Walk, Walk, Walk!!
