still haven't done it yet

how did everyone else feel when going to the first group. im really shy and don't like big groups. are you glad you went or do you think you could do it on your own? I heard that you can get the books on ebay. just feel a bit weird when you have peer presure.

I like forums because it's at your own pace and you can confess your bad days without ever bumping into other members face to face

I don't like groups either especially when in new surroundings but it was definitely a good step and not as bad as I had worked myself up to be. You contribute what you want, well you did in my group.

SW definitely set me on the right path!

Don't worry. Give the Consultant a call and tell her how you are feeling, there is no pressure to set targets, just take it a week at a time. There is so much information and ideas in group which will encourage you. The first step is the hardest. Go to group, stay to group and your confidence will grow.

I've never been to a meeting but wanted to wish you good luck! I'm sure you'll be fine!

Going to the group was the best thing for me. I was so worried about going but they really made me feel at ease.

Carla80! If you are nervous about joining, trust me (ex Consultant) Join Now! This is the very best time! The Consultant will have very few (if any) new members in December, she will have loads of time for you. January can be frantic with all the New Year Resolutions, but you have made up your mind that SW is the best, so go please, pretty please go - you will not regret it xx

If I don't attend meetings, quite often put on a pound or two!
