New to Slimming World

Hi Everyone.
I joined SW 2 weeks ago and lost 2lbs in my first week. I was a bit disappointed as I thought I was doing everything correctly and most people have a big loss in their first week but a loss is a loss so I shouldn't complain.

I have some questions if you wouldn't mind answering.

I checked my book for my healthy b option. I usually have porridge and fruit but I'm getting sick of it, so I got Weetabix, I used 2 Weetabix and skimmed milk but in the book it says Weetabix minis and some other flavour one. Do I syn the Weetabix then?

Also I lidl had some coffee syrups in a few weeks ago and I stocked up, they are yummy, but don't have any nutritional value on them to check syns online, I compared it to costa and starbucks and they vary so not 100% sure, has anyone else used them?

Thanks in advance

Porridge is usually my breakfast of choice. Although I do the overnight magic porridge (Magic Porridge aka Slimming World Yogurt Porridge)

I think I would work it out as 1 Serving = 2 Biscuits @ 37g (I just weighed them), but to me it's close enough to the 35g of weetabix minis allowed as a HEX B. Not an exact science but I wouldn't quibble over 2 grams.

The coffee syrups - were they these ones?

If it is Lidl Bellarom Coffee Syrup, it works out approx 2.5 Syns Per 15ml (1 tablespoon)

That was based on the Vanilla Syrup which was the only nutritional values I could find.

Would imagine the others are the same

General rule is 1 syn per 20 calories but not easy if none of this information is on the product labelling, that would annoy me

What about natural yoghurt/muller light and fruit or some toast and natural peanut butter? The peanut butter would need syned on SW but it's really good for you.

Over night porridge with natural yoghurt, hunny and fruit is YUMMY too.

Thank you for the information.
Mitch, no its not that syrup, I can't find a picture of it online either.
It just says deluxe on the label, maybe i'll take a photo of it.

if you are right about it being bellaroom then that makes me happy as I was allowing 4 syns

I'm still trying out new recipes and things so i'll have a go of the overnight porridge one
thanks for the suggestion wobbles, I love peanut butter
