Most affordable bars?

I've loved granola bars for years, but I'm trying to make the switch over to protein bars and energy bars. Unfortunately, they seem to be hit or miss. Some taste great but don't work as a meal replacement. Others taste awful. What are some of your favorites?

I used to buy bars in bulk from Exante. They are a total meal bar for 200 cals. Not the best tasting but most are ok.
Some of the sports nutrition ones are awesome and taste better than most snack bars but not sure they qualify as a balanced meal replacement. And I usually just end up eating them all

I always look around to see what I can get a good deal on but I do test out new brands when I can. I found an Atkins one a few weeks ago that was amazing but I can't seem to find that flavor in the stores. I think it might be one of the popular ones because I know the store sells it but the shelf is always empty by the time I get there. What is Exante?

I was at Trader Joe's the other day and wow, do they ever have a selection! I got a decent assortment. I think I liked the Lara bars the best. I'm hoping I can find a good deal on them. I might have to check out that Exante bar.

I would love to go to that place but my husband hates it and I have no clue why. I really just need to head out one day when he is not with me. I like trying new stuff, sometimes they are not great but my kids have never turned any down that I did not like so it is still a win-win for us.

I would love to find some good-tasting protein bars that aren't also high in sugar. The only ones I've liked are the ThinkThin bars. They taste really good but I noticed that there is still a lot of sugar and other stuff in there.
