Are there any that are actually filling?

Are there any shakes out there that are diet-friendly that are actually filling? I love smoothies and shakes and all, but it seems like I'm always hungry again an hour later...

There are loads out there. Slimfast do one and Cambridge diet do them. Have a look on Google for protein shakes. I know some love and swear by them, but personally I'm not a fan.

Smoothies and juices however, so I'm told, aren't good for diets. Not sure how true that is?

Protein shakes are good with plenty of water I prefer the celebrity slim active chocolate shakes when the pennies allow!

They fill me up pretty fast but they don't keep me full for as long as I would like. Of course that's true with any liquids I imagine.

I think Mitch probably has the right of it with smoothies and juices because I think they tend to be high in sugar. I know juice is, because you're pulling it from the fruit and leaving the fiber behind. As for shakes, if you blend nonfat yogurt, milk, and fresh or frozen fruit together and wind up with something that's about the consistency of a milkshake, it's fairly filling.
