Reason for losing weight?

Do you have a specific reason for losing weight - for an occasion for example or for health reasons in general?

For me it's mainly health reasons and so I'm healthy for my little boy but on a more immediate level it's for the summer holidays so I look a bit better than before. Next summer I'm planning on being in a bikini lmao but for this summer a couple stone off will do me.

What about everyone else?

Obviously mainly health reasons. A lot for confidence, and just to like what i look like rather than be ashamed and embaressed.

A just to be a more positive role model for my kids! x

Mine is just to be a healthier, stronger version of me. Push myself and see what I am capable of achieving.

Mine is because I haven't been happy with my body for a long time, It really got to me when I had my booking in appointment and I had a BMI of 32, I knew I was over weight but putting a number on it really depressed me.

I was 84kg in my booking in appointment, I was told I was "allowed" to gain 9kg from that figure through out the whole pregnancy. I have only put on 4kg so I am happy with myself.

As soon as I can I will be back on the dieting and hopefully exercising wagon!

I got to the point where I just couldn't find anything nice to say about my self, I picked fault with myself all the time, I hated photos and I had 0 confidence, I didn't fit into the clothes I liked and was genuinely unhappy about the way I looked, it wasn't good for me or my children!

So I'm losing weight to change all of the above!

plus I'm getting married next year

I've always struggled with my weight, and this is just the last chance I have to get it sorted. I became the heaviest I'd ever EVER been and I just seen no end to it unless I did something. I was ashamed, and it was affecting me very negatively, even though I would push it to the back of my mind.

Now I'm feeling brighter that I'm actively doing something about it, and succeeding, even just a little bit

Also for health & confidence reasons of course. I'm 22 fgs, I shouldn't look or feel like this!

Mine is more to strengthen myself and manage my back pain better. I love that we have a lot of varied reasons here! Hopefully we can inspire others to stick with it x

I've a million reasons, but health is a big one. I was getting to the point where I was having chest pains and aching joints. I'm 24, I feel like an old woman!
I'm massive though, I always have been but I was at my biggest when I started again. It'd be great to not be the biggest one in the room all the time!
