My washing machine finally packed in!

I posted aaaaages ago about it playing up, it's finally given up, it just keeps draining rather than starting the cycle properly. Typically it happened on a Monday, I'd been at work all day Saturday, been out Sunday and work Monday, so 3 days of no washing being done! Plus what was left over from Friday.

And then, the big one threw up all over her bed last night had to shower it all off and then take it to my mum's earlier! I've got a full basket and 2 plastic basket things already! I usually do 2 loads a day at least.

Hopefully getting a replacement soon, just hoping the landlords don't drag their heels too much! Going to have to make a start on hand washing soon though, with the big one being in school full time, I've not bought her too many "casual" clothes and it's the holidays!

Oh no! And that must be the worst time for a washing machine to pack in when your LO has been sick all over the bed!

I hope you get a new one soon! Mine broke last august time and you never realise how much you rely on them until they pack in!

It really was the worst time! She's got a double bed too, so there was a huge pile of sheets! I've not heard anything about a new one yet, downside of renting I suppose! Ok I don't have to pay for a new one, but if it was down to me I'd have one by now!

Yay for your new washing machine! It sounds like a good one. Hopefully it is all installed and ready to use by now if the plumber was on time!
