I'm on strike!

And it's a lot harder than expected OHs whinging the house is a mess, the kids don't want to tidy their mess, I'm hormonal and have told them I don't want to do anything either they don't seem particularly bothered though, whereas I'm plonked on the sofa trying not to get up and take the washing out the machine and clean the windows I was about to do before I announced my strike! I'm also rather hungry, but have said I don't want to make any food today, so can't do that just yet meanwhile the kids are upstairs playing and totally oblivious!

Welcome to my world. It is never ending. I get up and clean the house. I mop the floors and then my hubby walks in with his boots on. He walks throughout the kitchen and then exclaims - Oh no, did you just mop? He tries to wipe up the mess with a clean kitchen towel. Grrrr! Making the mess even bigger.

I keep telling him and the kids that I am moving to my own house.

At least he attempts to clean it up, mine wouldn't bother I've got a proper strop on now thanks to a rushed shopping trip before the shops shut at 4! And now it all starts again making tea! Never ending!

Nice to see you around btw Hun, haven't seen you on in a bit!

Lol how did the strike go? I can imagine that it must have been so hard sitting there wanting to do housework but couldn't. It reminds me of that episode of My Family where Susan goes on strike from the housework and parenting!

I would have a really hard time with a cleaning strike because I am so obsessive/compulsive about keeping things neat and tidy. Dirty dishes in the sink and dirt in the carpet drive me bonkers!
