Hello From Maryland

Hello Everyone!

My name is Olga and I am 24 years old. In high school, I played field hockey, lacrosse, and cheered so weight was never an issue for me. I am 5ft tall, petite, and definitely store all of my excess weight in my but and thighs. I weighed about 110 back then and was in the best shape of my life.

I am obviously much older now and can’t hold on to “what used to be” but I know what can be. I weigh 120 (118 on a good day) and have lost my tight abs and tones arms. I am getting married in May 2014 and I am motivated to take back my body! I want to look beautiful in my wedding dress and feel confident in a bikini on my honeymoon. My fiancé says he loves my “mature woman” body because I no longer look like a little girl but I know if I felt more confident, that would be sexy to him even more.

When I first met my fiancé, he was a slim but buff guy. He wrestled in high school. Then he went away to college and definitely got a fraternity boy beer gut. He grew up with soda, butter, junk food and no one ever saw anything wrong with it. I have tried to get him to lose weight but always failed in my pleas… until recently. Now, he wakes up EVERY morning to work out in the gym we created in our basement. He hasn’t had soda say March 2013 and even denied desert every single night we were on a cruise (hello buffet?). He is so motivated that it made me get motivated.

I have always pretty much eaten healthy, but food is my vixen. I love to experience new foods and find it to be a cultural experience rather than a comfort; not tasting something makes me feel like I am missing out on it. If you put it in front of me, I will most likely at least taste it, if not eat a portion. I don’t eat a lot, and I don’t eat poorly, but I will try it!

I am short and petite. Yes, I do not weigh a lot and no I am not incredibly unhealthy. In fact, I have outstanding physical exams every year. But I want to get HEALTHIER and TONE my body back to the beautiful shape it was once in.

I work 9-5 every day, am in grad school, am planning a wedding, and maintain a household of my fiancé and cat. Juggling all of this isn’t easy and getting the energy to work out for an hour each day is the biggest struggle of mine.

I just started the Tracy Anderson 90-Day Metamorphosis Method. I am on day three… let’s see how this goes!

Love to see another from the great state Maryland! How is the weather? I have not been there in ages but I still miss my home state dearly. Hope you enjoy the stay, everyone is lovely here.
