Smile

Newbie

Hello everyone, I just wanted to say Hi and introduce myself, I am a 47 year old Menopausal mare with some weight to shift. I did really well 6 years ago with Weight Watchers and lost 4.5 stone and maintained for 5 years, then took my eye off the ball due to two lots of Surgery, going on HRT and giving up smoking I managed to gain back 3 Stone

I started Slimming World last week as I felt that I needed a challenge in learning a new program as I got too complacent with WW, and had my first weigh in last night....
I honestly felt that I hadn't lost anything due to the amount of food that I have eaten but I was totally gobsmacked to see I had lost 4.5lb!! So totally hooked now and can't wait till next week..
Any one on here who would like to Buddy up I have a total of 3 stone that I would like to shift and it is always easier with a friend
Lisa x

Hi Lisa. Welcome to social slimmers!

Glad to hear you've had a fantastic result on the scales for week 1!

There are quite a few of us here that are following SW, myself included, and there is lots of useful information on the SW pages
I'm looking at losing around 3 stone also, having lost it all and gained it back over the past couple of years!

Best of luck! x
