Hiya I'm new here...

I have been on a steady clean eating and exercise plan for over a year now and lost over four stone. But over Christmas I indulged a bit too much and I just can't seem to start again... I keep saying tomorrow I'll start again and then I do okay for a day and fall off the wagon again. Any help or ideas what to do?! I have another stone (at least) to lose and would really appreciate and help?!?
Thank you. X

Hi there Isabel. I'm like you, and can't seem to get back on it since Xmas. But today I have drawn a line. I feel like my mindset has changed for the better and I will do it!

Welcome Isabel

I think there's a few that are in the same position as yourself. I know I'm one!
I follow SW, and I know the plans are different, but someone at my group said they have been slowly getting back onto the plan. For example, they've not cut everything out all at once as she said she is more likely to fall right back off the wagon if she does it that way. She's been changing her eating habits a little each day. e.g. introducing more fruit & veg each day, and removing any 'bad' foods.

This may not work for you, but there were a few people in my group that agreed with her and said they'd done something similar themselves.

Hi Isabel and welcome to Social Slimmers!
I have been the same with keeping on saying that I will start tomorrow and then I somehow don't! I think small changes are good at first as it can be overwhelming and feel restrictive to change a lot at once. Good luck

Hello and Welcome isabelhutchson,
nice to meet you.
you know that old saying tomorrow never comes? so i would say don't make a plan for tomorrow because it will stay there, make a commitment and start right now.
and the advice above is good, make small changes because they can build into big results but do it now.

Welcome to Social Slimmers

You definitely aren't alone. I'm going in small steps and steadily enjoying eating good food again. Moderation ... drink plenty of water.
