Welcome 5dlady and good luck on SW. Have a look at the food journals for some ideas. Make sure you include lots of speed foods daily, and drink plenty of water

Welcome 5dlady

Everyone's weight loss differs in their first week.

You gave up to 15 Syns to use each day, so if you want to use them all feel free. That's what they're there for, also, as a general rule most people lose more weight by using more Syns daily. Sounds odd I know, but it works!

Also, if you've just started exercising more, that will have some effect on your losses. They may not be as big as you hope.
But that doesn't mean you shouldn't do any exercise! By all means carry on because you'll be losing inches too
On that note, take your measurements too. If you notice the scales aren't going smaller as quick as you'd like, you'll probably see it in the inches
It's called a non-scale victory, and they're sometimes just as helpful as the on-scale ones!

Like Ali said, make sure you drink plenty of water and get plenty of speed foods in your meals

As for adding a photo, look under the 'User CP' section and see what buttons are available to you. Some options (like signatures) only become available when you have a certain amount of posts (10 posts for signatures )
