Help

Hi

Really struggling to find motivation to lose weight I know I need to as i'm getting out of breath so easily and have gone up 2 dress sizes in a year and it's really getting me down. Can anyone help me or share how they lose their weight?

Hi Stephanie, welcome to Social Slimmers

I'm sorry to hear you're feeling so down, but we all understand how that feels, so you aren't alone.
Personally I'm a huge supporter of Slimming World. Rather than being a diet, it's a healthy eating plan and a lifestyle change.
It's all about cooking from scratch, and eating plenty of fruit/veg/meat/etc. You get Healthy Extra allowances each day, one for dairy and one for fibre.
You also get a 'Syn' allowance each day, which you can use on any food you like; crisps, chocolates, sauces, alcohol, cakes, etc.

Obviously not everyone has the same opinion of SW, but for me I know it has worked in the past where other plans haven't.

I hope you can find enough information on this site to help you make a decision on what you might like to follow.

Hi Sarah

Yes I joined slimming world at the beginning of the year and managed to lose half a stone but I slowly found it harder and harder. Need to find new ways so thats why I joined this, fingers crossed! x
