Hi Lynsey, welcome to social Slimmers

It can be hard making big changes to your diet and cutting things out. Are you using your Syns for the chocolate or are you using them on other things and then eating chocolate too?
Have you tried freezing chocolate? Frozen curly wurlys are good. They take ages to eat too so it prolongs the taste

What about a hot chocolate drink? 11g of Options is 2 Syns, and if you need to you can always add sweetener to it. I use my hex a choice when I make one, but I like mine milky.
I'm a huge fan of the chocolate orange hifi bars too, they've been an absolute godsend for me! I get to eat chocolate and it's my hex b choice (I don't have bread or cereals)

There are plenty of times I struggle with being on plan. I don't think there's a person who has been on any form of healthy eating plan that hasn't struggled with it. You aren't on your own and we are here for support

Hi there Lyndsey, nice to meet you.
I would agree with Sarah. Frozen chocolate lasts longer and hot chocolate can sometimes curb a craving. It can also be stirred into yogurt or fromage frais etc.
You've got 15 syns each day so you don't have to deprive yourself completely.
Good luck!

I am using my syns on chocolate but always on other things, i never pre prepare my food its always what i fancy on the day. Ive tried most things and it never seems to work then i just go and binge. I havent got a freezer so i cant freeze my chocolate, i do put them in the fridge though. I find its usually when im PMT that i struggle the most and at night

My best advice is to plan. It really really helps and prevents going off plan in a moment of madness. Even just the day or morning beforehand, know what meals you'll have and it makes things so much easier.
Also, you'll probably find that you won't be craving chocolate forever. Trust me, after a few weeks, your palate will change and you'll start eating it less

I agree with Ali - peronally I plan the majority of my meals at the weekend. Otherwise I'm likely to end up at the takeaway on those very tired days
But planning is one of the best things you could do.

And you will stop craving it, but why not just pick low synned things - Freddo's are 5 syns? Curly Wurly's are 6.
