Smile

19 weeks in & 4 stone 51/2lbs lighter!

Hi folks,

I have just joined this forum and hope to swap ideas for recipes, give and receive support when needed and generally see how others achieve what they do as inspiration to keep me on track. And maybe be able to help/inspire others too :-)

I joined SW in January. I had never joined a class before but I always knew if I actually did I might lose weight consistently simply because of a stranger weighing you every week. I long held off joining until a chance meeting with a woman I used to know and she encouraged me to do it.

Am I ever glad she did!

I love going to my class and love weigh in ... even though each week I have an eek times when I worry I might have gained. I really never want that to happen without some very just cause.

I am so bloody minded I want to have a loss, however small, every week. For the first time in my life I feel driven to lose the lard and weigh in day keeps me focused.

I still have a way to go, about another 2 and a half stone, but I aim (hope!) to be there come September.

So, that's my "hello" and I look forward to chatting to you x

Hi DaisyCat welcome to Social Slimmers!!

You have done completely amazing with your losses! Huge well done to you!

We all have those eek days, especially me! But the best thing is that you've still gone to group and not avoided it

There are quite a few of us over on the SW pages and there are loads of SW friendly food diaries to view to get an idea of different meals etc. And lots of recipes too!

Good luck on the rest of your journey, and I look forward to seeing you around the forum
