Hi Javis, welcome to Social Slimmers.

Do you have a particular plan you wish to follow, or are you looking for some guidance/advice on any plans?

That's not a problem - have you followed any kind of plan before? Or do you have any plan in particular that you want some advice on?

Have you considered Slimming World? Rather than being a diet it's more of a healthy eating plan.
It gets you to focus on eating plenty of fruit, veg, and protein foods such as meat, fish, beans. I woujld also suggest eating things like pasta, rice, potatoes, yoghurts in moderation. SW have them listed as free foods and that you can eat as much as you like, but they get you to focus on having your plate an equal split between veg/fruit, protein and free foods. One third of each category on your plate.

It also tried to encourage you to cook your meals from scratch rather than using jarred sauces or frozen meals that can be full of oils and preservatives. For me I think making my own taste so much better anyway

It's not a quick fix or fad diet, but it's a more sustainable way of eating even when you reach your target weight.

There are lots of threads over on the Slimming World pages here: http://www.socialslimmers.com/slimming-world/

Hi Javis!

Welcome to Social Slimmers.

Slimming World is definitely the most popular way forward. Another option is hitting calories but with good whole foods (mostly).

Do you plan to go with the weight loss journey or a combo of weight loss and exercise?
