Newbie

Hi everyone I hope I'm posting in the right place if not I do apologise. So basically I'm trying to make sure I eat better for my health and for my children. I know my problem I snack and snack alot oops. The kids eat really well and love healthy food but I never eat with them because with a 2 3 5 year old there's never enough time between the she did this and he did that. So I tend to snack then and then can never be bothered to eat properly later once there all finally in bed and the house work has been done. I'm fed up or doing the same meals for them and I just want everyone having healthy and a good variety of food. I didn't think I was that big but knew I had a bit of chub on my belly but then my doctor said I needed to lose 5 stone. Well im a size 14 or 16 sometimes so didn't think it would be that much but hey ho if losing 5 stone is what is needed then that's my long term goal. I know how to eat healthy I'm just a bit rubbish with "what's for tea tonight" I'm just feeling a little bit deflated before Ive even started

Hi Jade, welcome to the forum. Have a look around for some tips and inspiration. Slimming World is a very family-friendly plan that might help you. I'd say the best thing you can do for yourself is to plan your menus so that you know what you'll be eating and what needs preparing, rather than thinking at the last minute and eating junk. Hi thank you. I'm going to my first slimming world meeting Monday so hopefully get some good recipes. I'm just looking on Google now for some quick recipes to start planning ready for monday
