New to slimming world

Hi fellow slimmers. Im tina,im 30 years old and have been searching for a sucsessfull way to lose the weight for years and tried all sorts of diets and so far,the only one that worked (temporarily i might add) was the heartbreak diet lol. Well anyway my friend has finally got me to go with her to slimming world and i had to face upto the truth.i feel better now ive took that first step. Im loving the plan and i feel like im eating too much but ive been told that i will still lose weight if i follow the plan. So hello to anyone taking the time to read my "long" post. Feel free to message me or whatever people do on here.

Morning Tina, Welcome....

I am half way through week 5 on SW...first 3 weeks were great, lost 9lb in total, but last week put on 1.5lb with no real reason... or so I thought.
Consultant then told me I hadn't eaten enough of the "right" foods, so whilst I hadn't been naughty, I had slowed my metabolism down enough to make it hang on to the carbs.

So my piece of advice is, make sure you get plenty of those speedy foods in, lots of veg and all that!

I know already this week, I having a better weight loss week, I can just feel something different in me...and the amount of veg I have eaten I need to own my own veg farm!

Good luck and I look forward to reading about your journey.

Hi lellylion. Thank you for your advice, luckily i love veg and use it to bulk up my meals and im excited to see results in my first week as it will motivate me more to keep going. Im sure i will have weeks when i gain because i lack willpower and im likely to fall off the wagon at some point...after all,im not made of wood haha x
