Quick hello from a newbie!

Hi SocialSlimmers!

My name is Anna and I am originally from Poland but have been living in UK for 8 years now and I am happily married to a British man We are based in East Midlands.

He is a skinny man with hollow legs and I put on weight from breathing and got PCOS.

This is my I-cannot-remember-anymore-which attempt at losing weight, hopefully this can be the last one.

Following Slimming World at home and going to the gym to do some cardio and weight training...

See you around!

Hi and welcome
I'm sure you'll find the board supportive and friendly.

Well done starting on SW and hope it goes well for you. A lot of us run SW journals where we talk general day to day stuff and some of us post our food.

Also there are weigh in day threads to share the journey with those on the board who weigh the same day as you, and even a Christmas challenge (personal not a competition) if you fancy joining and looking longer term (can be scary but will be fab when we're looking back on how much we've lost and the achievements along the way).

Look forward to seeing you around the board and celebrating your losses with you.

Thank you PurpleJ - your achievements are amazing!

I have started a Journal as I find that if I write down what I have been eating and doing I keep motivated

I have also just found the Christmas Challenge so will definitely join in that tonight as it would be a good way to keep myself going!

Thanks -sadly added a gain this week to them, but will move forward from that. I like to try and look at a months total and overall moving down the stones is a good thing.

Well done joining the challenge and starting a journal - I found looking at xmas daunting I must admit but it'll soon be here, and whatever we lose will be a big bonus.
I do find my journal helps - I talk way too much! lol
