Hi
I have started Slimming world (again!), for the last time! I am determined to fully achieve my goal as my youngest child turned 4 today. Time to turn things around. I haven't used a forum site before but I intend to achieve my goal. I would love to share in your discussions and enjoy the group support. Good luck to all the other slimmers x

Hello! I'm new too! (although I have been on SW before - not since red and green days though!) I ahve a question RE syns - I'm sorry if this isn't in the right place - feel free to move it! I was just wondering if it was ok to 'save up your syns' and instead of having 15 a day of 3 days instead have say 3 a day and then have 36 on the 4th day?

Hi Ernie as for your question, there are plenty of people that 'save' their syns.
SW say that there is nothing wrong with doing this, they even mention 'flexible syns' on their website, which basically means exactly what you said.
I do this sometimes, especially if I know I've got something planned that may require more syns than normal e.g. a meal out, or drinks. I'll try to use less syns on a couple of days leading up to the event, and it allows me to be more flexible when said event comes around
(Have I just confused you even more? Lol)

no that makes perfect sense, thankyou
I have lost weight by sort of just using them all at the weekend and then not having as many throughout the week, but there seems to be the militants who insist that I have to have 5-15 everyday. trouble is, some days I don't want any - or jsut a few and other days I like to eat 3 slices of veggie supreme from dominos

I'm the same. I have to use my syns, but I don't use the entire 15 every single day. I like some wine or other drinks at the weekend, so I tend to save some for alcohol
