New here - hello

Hi everyone (waves hello)

I've just joined Slimming World online but miss the company of face to face groups and online chat. I found this site by searching minutes ago and here I am...

I have 2 - 3 stones to lose depending how I feel when I get to each milestone and I know that's possible because I've done it before. On the other hand when you've lost weight and put some on again it feels much less possible each time! Hoping this time's the last. Hoping to find like-minded souls for mutual support. And hoping not to be lonely any more...

Another new person

HI I am Mads, joined slimming world last Thursday. It is a whole new world and I am struggling to make sense of it all. However, I do believe it is just a matter of getting my head around all the food, and the combinations. I have 5.5 stone to loose, the last three have been put on this year due to steroids. I hope to be off them soon so that might help with the weight loss.

Hi Mads

Nice to meet you! Yes Slimming World is confusing at first. I'm an online member so don't have a group leader to ask - I think you are right about getting your head round it all because after about 3 weeks it's beginning to make some sense. So far it has seemed to work though it's slow.

Good luck - hope the weight drops off!

Hi Joy,

Welcome to Social Slimmers!

You can do it I did it in stages rather than thinking of the whole 4 stone I wanted to lose by either stone brackets or jean sizes, actually probably a bit of both so between stone brackets I'd get a boost of a jean size down.

Good luck
