Housework sure is tiring! It should help you lose weight and even keep you fit!

No not expensive i don't think, could probably pick one up for £10 or so. I know they sell them in Argos but not sure what they are like. I too only take short steps as I'm only 5ft 3"

MFP has a housework option for burnt calories I believe. I'm not sure I believe it because I'd have been super slim and not been here if that was true

That's true I'd be wasting away! My small one told me earlier whilst I was polishing and ranting at her that every time I tidied she'd just mess it up again cos she likes a dirty, messy house little sod! I'm constantly chasing my tail tryig to keep up with it all!

I usually only count housework on MFP if there is a whole lot of it. If I am just tidying up a room or two I just consider it a "bonus" to whatever else I am doing that day.

I should definitely have been size 10 by the end of the school holidays but nope so I call BS

When I do the garden though I feel like I've done some burning of calories

I very rarely do gardening, I hate it! I tidied my living room this morning and am well chuffed it's still tidy! I swear I've spent the holidays just constantly tidying it!
