My kids like salad but I'm trying to empty the cupboards of tins and jar stuff ... That's bad parenting really right? I eat healthy they finish the crap!! : blush:

I've done the same! Although I'm trying to enforce healthy eating ATM, the big one ended up with a sandwich for tea last night cos she wouldn't eat her stir fry!

Yes I think it's harder as I don't get much time to exercise. But on the other hand they can keep you so busy you don't end up thinking about food anyway!

nuts, and cheese snacks
I always thought nuts and cheese where bad on a diet. Although i'm guessing you don't mean dry roasted nuts and cheese on crackers? I could eat those all day

Nuts are packed with strong proteins. You'll find that nuts and beans have the best proteins for your body and meats have the weakest proteins. Cheese on the other hand is not so healthy. It does provide some protein but is full of fat.
