Help needed for a newbie trying to choose meal option!

Hi everyone!

I'm just through my first week at SW and just weighed in 6lbs down - delighted but also apprehensive about a heavy weekend away with friends this weekend. I have to decide on my meal for the Saturday night by tomorrow lunch and I'm really struggling trying to find lowest SYN option, it's not great having to choose so far in advance and can't be really picky cause we're a large group and I don't want to be a burden on my friend organising it!

My menu options are below - would anyone have any suggestions at all?! I was thinking fishcakes and ratatouille pasta?

starters
selection of breads served with red pepper tapenade & herb oil (V)

freshly prepared soup of the day with homemade bread (V)

crispy fishcakes, minted peas, lemon, black pepper mayo

goat’s cheese fritters with red onion jam, walnuts & apple salad (V)

chicken caesar salad, black olives, croutons & parmesan (V without chicken) (GF without croutons)

thai chilli beef, napa slaw, coriander & chilli dip

mains

slow cooked beef brisket, champ, glazed carrots & bourguignon sauce (GF)

seafood risotto, spinach, creamed leeks, spring onion, rocket & parmesan (GF)

confit pork belly, champ, kale, celeriac puree & red wine jus (GF)

fillet of seabass, roast mediterranean vegetables, creamy tomato & basil sauce (GF)

chicken and chorizo penne pasta, roast red pepper, chilli & pea

pan fried salmon, chorizo, green beans, mash & white wine cream(GF)

daube of beef, garlic champ, roasted root veg & red wine jus (GF)

vegetable ratatouille with penne pasta (V) (GF)

9oz Irish Sirloin steak, chunky chips, tomato, rocket salad with peppercorn sauce (GF)

Good for you trying to work out the best options so many times I've not done that and I've gone hell for leather with food instead

Looking at your options, I would probably go for the same things you've picked. The chicken Caesar salad will probably be quite low in syns (in comparison to other dishes) but the fish cakes should be fine
