fed up!

My dad and four younger bros & sis are down from Scotland til Sunday but since they come down on Thurs I've eaten nothing but crap and only managed the gym once.

I find it so hard when my routine's changed because i always end up giving in easier. Didnt get to weigh in last week so gonna see what the damage is this Sunday

any tips on how to stay focussed?

The process of following a diet creates big changes in your life and most often the dieting process is not something you can so easily adapt to. It requires total commitment and motivation, which are hard to maintain. So when people around you eat normally and are oblivious to your situation you too involuntarily lose motivation and start eating like people around you.

There are few ways to stick to your diet:
1. Take a bite but only a small portion
2. Have an alternative (eat almonds instead of cake)
3. Eat slowly
4. Prepare healthy diet when eating with family and friends
5. Finally, prepare to be firm

How are you gettin on now hun? It's so hard sticking to a diet when no one else aroun you is doing! I always think when you've got people staying you tend to eat more crap too! It seems to be a guaranteed way to keep people happy have you tried eating off a small plate? And maybe make up some salad so you van have a helping alongside the crap?
