Is anyone else a serial weigher?

There is the good kinda weighing. Weighing out food on the kitchen scales, especially if you are on Slimming World. And then there is the dreaded bathroom scales

I just can't help it I have scales in my main bathroom, en-suite and downstairs loo. We even have some at work in the disabled toilets for some reason And it's not at simple as just weighing myself. I weigh a couple of times per visit I'm not sure how dirty I think I get but I even weigh before and after showers

I know that I 'might' be a bit compulsive, but does anyone else have a bit of a thing about weigh themselves ?

I don't have a 'thing' about weighing myself, but then again, I also don't have scales in multiple rooms. Doesn't that make you a bit paranoid to weigh yourself so frequently? We all naturally fluctuate some throughout the day and from day to day.

Wow! That is a lot of weighing. I don't weigh in hardly ever. I do measure my food though. I really think you should only weigh in once a week, on the same day each week.

I weugh myself several times a day as well, but I only have one scale I understand weight fluctuates throughout the day, but I get satisfaction from seeing the numbers slowly go down

I try to only weigh myself once a week as I know my weight can fluctuate a lot over a day and doesn't really give an accurate weight.

I do weigh a lot of foods on the kitchen scales though!

I usually weigh myself every morning as I'm getting dressed. It's just a habit. Lately I am trying to weigh just once a week which is what every diet plan recommends. Every day gets depressing as my weight fluctuates.

Don't get me wrong. I don't expect to see anything different. If anything it amazes me how much your body can fluctuate on an average day. I just can't see scales without standing on them

ok I'm crazy

I am like you. I have to weigh myself every single morning after I wake up and every single night before I go to sleep. It's crazy, I know, but I just can't help it

I used to be a compulsive weigher too, but I am in a lot better place mentally now that I've stopped. Now I only weigh-in at doctor visits about three or four times a year. The rest of the time I go by how I look and how my clothes fit.

The weigh in is the 'moment of truth'. Yes, it's always a surprise that several more pounds have not being lost. I like to weigh daily and in general I like to weigh in. It's kind of fun.

Weigh-in weekly isn't as good, sometimes it's very disappointing.

If I don't weigh-in at all then everything slides.
