Dr. Oz testifying about his claims

Dr. Mehmet Oz got his start on Oprah and then ended up with his own highly popular television show. I used to watch it a couple years ago because he gave some very helpful information about health but after awhile he seemed to push certain products.

Now, he is testifying before the US Senate about some of his claims for diet products. It's been all over the news. Here is a link to an article.

I have heard about this already! I've been watching Dr. Oz for long time! But quit because he started just to do obvious ads about products...was too annoying(( I think he should take the responsibilities for all the words he said about products he was advertising! So many people trusted him!

I've never heard or watched his show but how true is "The weight-loss industry is an area where consumers are particularly vulnerable to fraud"!

There might be products that can help us along our way by keeping the appetite suppressed and things of that nature, but there isn't any miracle cure for being overweight. It's horrible the way people are cheated and lied to in order for charlatans to make money.

One day they may actually come up with some kind of weight loss/fat burner that works and we'll all be so skeptical by then.
