Katie there is also one trick with water: you need not to drink for 2 hours after having food. And yes drink glass of water 20 min before every meal. i guess the reason for this is that water before makes you eat less. and drinking water after food makes your stomach to stretch wider. so avoiding it maybe shrinks your stomach a bit in some time)
