That's why I am losing weight so slowly. The doctors recommend we don't lose too much, too fast, so your skin isn't left just hanging off your bones. If I could exercise, I would burn more calories, and tighten up in the process. Having more muscle makes you burn more calories too. I can't, though, so unfortunately for me it is a slow process. My goal is to lose about fifty pounds so I have quite a way to go.

Dieting gives better results for weight loss, but I agree with the others that without exercise, you will still look soft. I really like to do both, although exercise is much more enjoyable than dieting!
