Lattes

Lattes are evil. I only have one a week as a special treat but I think I may have to cut even that out. I will miss it.

They are so good. I understand how you feel. They were my favorite treat to drink. I still treat myself to them every once in a while, but only once every two months or so. I don't want to give them up completely!

Jessica I so agree with you! I used to be a barista back in the day and that's why I treated myself to this machine for my Christmas present. I now make $4 lattes and cappuccinos for about $.20 cents!

Plus, I'd also like to say that you actually can make healthy lattes. One easy thing you can do is use 1% or 2% milk to cut down on calories and fat. I use 2% sometimes and it's pretty good! Another thing you can use is soy milk or even better, is almond milk! You won't get that much foam out of it but it will taste good and be lighter on the calories and fat for you.

You can also use sugar free syrups from Torani, which will easily cut out so many calories right off the bat. I use Torani syrups and they are fantastic.

Another thing you can do is to sometimes you can just drink an Americano, which is just espresso and hot water. Many people like to sweeten it up with some sugar, syrup, and a little creamer. Just use the options above and you should be okay!

Thank you for the suggestions! I actually drink tea lattes, not coffee ones, and I've never tried to make any at home, but maybe I can figure it out so I can try the lower fat milk and Torani syrups.
