How Many Meals?

I'm not asking for the right or wrong of it, because I have heard all the arguments about how many meals you should (or should not) eat in a day. I just want to know what's working best for others. Have you guys found that more meals with less food at each meal works better for you, or have more of you found that fewer, larger meals works better? I seem to do better with the more traditional "three-square-meals" concept. If I try to incorporate "snacks," it seems like I just wind up grazing all day long and going way over my Points that day. Y'all?

If I'm not careful, I'll eat probably six times a day or more. When I'm really watching it, though, and on days I do good about only eating when I'm truly hungry, I typically only eat about two or three times.

I find that three square meals works best for me. I have small snacks in between such as an apple or a low calorie cup soup.
I do have the odd day of just grazing all day though!

I know they're saying now that you should eat 5/6 times a day, but I wouldn't be able to stop if I did that! I tend to eat 2 meals a day, although if I know I'm going for a run I'll make sure I have a bowl of cereal midmorning. It's probably awful for my metabolism and blood sugar levels, but I don't tend to get hungry until about 1pm!

I do better eating three meals a day plus one snack. As much as I love food, I don't like to stop to eat five-six times per day, nor do I like having such tiny meals at a time as a result.

3 meals a day since I started dieting whereas before diet I was 1-2 meals, I honestly didn't eat anything most times in morning or day but by afternoon of snack on crap then a late meal. Timing of my meals changed too, sooner to start metabolism off I think is best and my evening meal is now 1-2 hours earlier (some cases more than 2 hours earlier, routine was awful)!

I personally eat three small, yet filling meals a day. I don't snack throughout the day because usually the three meals fill me up. I do sip on water throughout the day, which helps with my appetite and also helps with my skin.

I think no specific plan is for everyone. Different things will work differently for different people. It is a matter of finding what works best for you.

I tend to change it up to fit my mood. Some days I eat just three meals each day. Others I eat several small meals each day. It all depends on how busy I am that day.
