Is yogurt with fat really bad?

I like yogurt with 1% milk fat. It seems to soothe my stomach and it's a wonderful help for heartburn. I can tolerate it without sugar, but I really don't care for nonfat yogurt. Do you think that having a snack of 1% fat yogurt once a day is OK?

You have to be careful because when they remove the fat they usually add more sugar and other garbage to make it taste better without the fat. I usually stick to low fat and check the carb amounts on the label to make sure it isn't worse than the regular type. Some brands are bad about that.

I don't really eat yoghurt very often but I like natural yoghurt. I don't think there is anything bad about yoghurt with fat in, it's probably better as they won't have replaced the taste with sugar or other additives

Hi, that BBC doc the truth about fat showed any foods that contain calcium and fat are better for you as the calcium stops the fat being absorbed by the body. So yay full fat milk, cheese and yogurt

Have to say my foods have changed a lot since I replied to this and I either eat natural ff fage yogurt or the 0% fat and they have NO extra added sugar etc for weight loss I go with the 0% with in mind that I will go full fat at some point (actually I do now and then)!

I go with 0% fat....because of my macros. Good protein without the fat. God I sound dull but that's how I'm rolling with it lol

Be careful, Bluebird is right. Most of the brands add something if they said it's no or less of something!
