Hi Wobbles how's things? Am still given up. Kind of mastered the whole dieting / weight loss thing now but none of it is working long term. I reckon I can drop a stone every 4/5 days on a large selection of diets but no matter how easy it is I will get fed up after a few days and binge. Guess am now on a quest to find something to replace food as my main/only enjoyment in life Also joined overeaters anonymous but not been to a meeting yet. Will see how that goes. Hope everyone else is kicking a$$.

How is everyone getting on?

My weight loss is still happening, slowly but surely. 24lb to go until a reach that 100lb loss.

The exercise was going great. It's amazing how quickly your fitness improves. When I first got my exercise bike, a month ago, I found 5km hard. Now I have been doing at least 10miles (16.1km) a day without a problem. I managed 30km last night....nothing to do with panicking about weigh-in today, honest.

Unfortunately one of the pedals fell off last night and won't screw back on as the threads on the crank arm (the bit that the pedal screws in to) have completely worn away. Not great considering I've only had it for just over a month. Typically, the time that I could return the bike to Amazon ran out 3days ago(!), but it does supposedly have a 2yr manufacturers warranty, so I've emailed them. Fingers crossed I hear back from them soon. I really need the bike to help me tone up.

Oh well, onwards and upwards.... or should that (hopefully) be downwards.

Good luck with the bike - well done with the loss that is amazing being so close to 100lb!

I'm assuming you have the wrong date of couple of the year as it's 2016.. if so then huge congrats to you and your mum!

I'm trying desperately to get back on track this week - 2 weeks away from group, fighting my own mind wanting to give up and forget weight loss bla bla bla.. so here I am 2lb away from 3 stone and want to get into my summer wardrobe in honesty but feel like my ultimate target is too low. So am going to see if I can get into the 13's and then decide where to revise it to. First I need to get back in focus.

5k is on Saturday so that'll help this week. Just got to ditch the junk - snacks not meals.

I hope that helps you Paul. I was wondering if your GP helps at all. Eating disorders are so common and there is help out there. You keep testing yourself and that's a good thing... I hope the groups help you.

Wow well done thistle, massive dedication there. A bike would be great. I've seriously considered one because it surely sounds easier than it is. I think I'd take to it more than running.

I've gone off track a little recently due to other circumstances, but I'm trying to go back to basics this week and I've been doing a normal food diary. I've not updated on here recently, but I'm just trying one step at a time for now!
Got to get my head back around everything and hoping life calms down a little too

I hope you manage to find what works best for you Paul.

Good luck for Saturday PJ! I'm sure you'll smash that 5k!!

Hope you can get that bike fixed too thistle!

How is everyone getting on?

Quote:
#1
Name it - 5 100kg deadlifts
Work for it - Set up my new weights in the garage

#2
Name it - Drop some more inches without losing weight
Work for it - I need to stop falling into the trap of under eating and increase my water intake again
My update:

- Done x1 100kg lift in my garage
- Obviously set up my weights although I see a friend and I using them nore in summer despite my intentions
- I've dropped on the tape measure and in clothes #VeryHappy
- Water has sucked but food is good 80% of time (alcohol another story )

I'm still working my way back to getting on track again, but with a big birthday coming up in (eek!) 4 months, I want to be as close to target as I can get so I'm doing my best to avoid all the really naughty foods and just get there

Ok.. am going to try and revamp this, hope some of you fancy a new challenge ?

I'm weighing in tomorrow, and eating better. I stayed within range for 'maintaining' for a while but am ready I think to move on again. I'd love to be back around 12 stone and need to work to get there.

First goal - to weigh in,
2nd goal - to lose 7lb
