10k Trail Run - November

Maybe I've gone a little mad ... maybe is probably definitely!

Betws-y-Coed Trail Challenge

I have added a 10km trail run into my life to do some extra fundraising on my page ... I am fundraising for 2 great causes, see:
www.gofundme.com/mudderwobbles

With my chest in mind I know this will kill me but I don't care, no I'm not going to breeze through but I am going to do my best. One of my Mudder pals is doing it with me which is totally awesome as we seem to run well together and one of my best friends is doing the 5 km which is FAB, this is her first event

What I'm doing:

So best get prepared for this too

I've done a couple of trails and 5km walk/jogs leading up to the Tough Mudder ... I was meant to be on a trial this Thursday with one of my mudder buddies but he isn't able to make it. I seem to be taking a rest this week too ... probably shouldn't but my body is saying NO for now. Need my GO back.

Well I got a bit wet, the weather was awful but we smashed it!

With the weather in mind, all those hill and my general fitness level I predicted 1hr 30mins but made it in at 1hr 19mins very happy. It was fun and also a starting point as I'll be back next year to do the same race.

Congrats You must be so proud of yourself. Wish I had the get up and go to do something like that, and for a great cause too
