Back to counting calories for the time being

Well, I had the choice of renewing Weight Watchers but decided to save the monthly fees and just count calories for a while. I'm back to using MyFitnessPal again. I really hope I can stick within the calorie margin and drop some of this weight. After 3 months on Weight Watchers, I am only about 4 pounds lighter! I am so NOT happy with myself right now...

MandaBear, did you stick within the points target for Weight Watchers the whole 3 months, or did you go over a lot? The reason I ask is that, if you didn't go over a lot, maybe there is something up that is stopping you from losing weight. Have you had blood work done recently to make sure you don't have any thyroid issues?

I agree with ChunkyBoots. In three months you should have seen greater results than 4 pounds (but remember that every bit counts!). I hope your results were due to the holiday season and not a medical issue.

Another thing to consider is if you were under eating? 4lb in 3 months doesn't sound right.

Hope calorie counting works for you, it certainly did for me

Good luck with the calorie counting. My fitness pal is a great app and has really helped me to stay on track with the calories

Oh no! That is not very positive! I started WW and I'm really hoping to see better results than that. Did you work out too or just diet? Good luck with counting calories!!
