How Strict Are You?

When counting calories, how strict are you? If the recipe you use isn't in the database, do you approximate with a similar recipe or enter your recipe into the database?

I kinda count, but I'm not strict. I don't use MFP or any database, I just look at packets and guess based on what I know. Come to think about it, that's probably where I'm going so wrong

I'm quite strict and add every ingredient I've used so that it's as accurate as possible

I don't calorie count at the moment, but I used to make rough guesses and add all the ingredients!

I tried doing that in the beginning and then I realized, even doing that will not be exact so I now I just sort of estimate. If I'm eating something with like 3000 calories, then yeah there's a problem!
